Competition to get a seat this winter will be intense so the earlier you register and pay the $250 deposit, the better your chances will be. ALL APPLICANTS WHO APPLY WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HOURS WILL BE TREATED EQUALLY

The registration process is divided into two stages:

  1. Registration through the Taglit-Birthright Israel website at http://israelexperience.birthrightisrael.com
  2. Supplemental forms to be filled out on the My Taglit page at www.israelexperience.org.il/taglit/mytaglit

The Registration Process

  1. Complete the entire online registration process (there are 8 steps).
  2. MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT THE $250 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT immediately – without the deposit, you're not considered an active applicant.
  3. The sooner you make the deposit, the higher priority you will have in getting on the trip!
  4. Even if you tried to go on Taglit-Birthright Israel in past years, you need to complete the entire process again. Registration will open early on September 13th at noon for those who were waitlisted in previous rounds – you’ll need your email address and password to sign in to the priority early registration.
  5. As a part of the online registration process, you’ll receive an email from Taglit-Birthright Israel to confirm your email address – MAKE SURE YOU RESPOND!
  6. Please have your current passport available (must be valid until at least 6 months past your expected return date) to provide the passport number and expiration date. If you do not currently have a passport or if your passport has expired or is expiring soon, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS IMMEDIATELY.
  7. It is very important that the name you register with exactly matches your passport (first, middle and last name. If you are ticketed incorrectly, you will not be able to board the plane.

Supplemental Application

  • Finish up the registration through the registration wizard on the My Trip page at www.israelexperience.org.il/taglit/mytaglit (you will receive a link in an email from israelexperience@comcast.net (Rachel Russo) with the details on how to enter the site.

    Please add this email address (israelexperience@comcast.net) to your email address book and/or "safe senders" list so the emails get through – this will be our primary method of communicating with you about the trip.

    The process will not take more than a few minutes.

    Please note that it is possible that a few days will pass until you receive this e-mail.

  • You are required to provide us with a copy of your valid passport (valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date) a minimum of 60 days before your trip or your risk losing your place on the trip.
  • After you’ve completed the registration process (which includes steps 1 and 2), we’ll contact you to conduct a mandatory interview. You are NOT accepted to a trip until you have received an email from us offering you a seat on a specific flight.
  • TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE if you want your FREE 10 day trip to Israel. Not only does registration close out early, but you’re not considered registered until ALL the steps have been completed.
