Extra curricular activities

In addition to the exciting and unforgettable moments you will experience studying in Israel, we have added to your course package three OSA points so that you may maximize your experience and shape it according to your own areas of interest. An optional weekend program in Northern Israel will be offered to Christian Origins students prior to starting the course. Information will be sent to registered students.

The Office of Student Activities (OSA) is responsible for organizing diverse extracurricular programs specifically designed to introduce RIS students to the Land of Israel – its people, geography, culture and politics. The many exciting events, tours and activities that complement the academic program allow you to see the country from new angles and provide you with a comprehensive, memorable Israel experience. Each OSA activity costs a certain number of OSA points – of which we will provide you with three points upon registration.

OSA employs a team of specially selected students (called madrichim), who reside in the dormitories, to assist you in adjusting to campus life at the Hebrew University and to make sure that you receive the full benefit of your stay in Israel. The madrichim are a good source of information on general matters, too. Feel free to call or visit them in the dorms or in the office (Boyar Bldg. Room 404).
