Registration Guidelines

The first step in order to move forward and secure your participation in the Christian Origins course is to fill out the online registration form.

Registration deadline is May 24th, 2010

In order to complete your registration you will be asked to pay a non-refundable 100$ registration fee, payable online using an e-check (in the US only) or using a MasterCard or Visa credit card.
In addition, a $75 non-refundable dorm deposit is required as soon as possible to ensure a dorm room for you.

Guidelines

  • Applicants must send all documents as outlined on the application form. Those who do not possess all the necessary documents by the deadline are advised to submit an incomplete application with a letter listing the missing documents and when they will be submitted.
  • Decisions will only be finalized after all required documents have been received.
  • All correspondence will be sent to the "Permanent Mailing Address" as it appears on the application form. Candidates must notify us of any change of address or personal information.
  • Application papers and supporting documents will not be returned or transferred to any other institutions (except to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem RIS who will not share any application information as well) .
  • Official Academic Records (transcripts, diplomas, etc.), either originals or notarized copies, must be sent directly from the relevant division/department/program. Faxes are not accepted for this purpose. Documents can be verified by bringing the original and a photocopy to the RIS office. If the name on the academic records differs from the name on the application form, please submit official documentation authenticating the name change. Candidates still in high school must submit a letter from their school testifying to their upcoming graduation date. Applicants to the Rothberg Academic Partnership program should submit a copy of their acceptance letter from the other program they will be attending.
  • Official TOEFL Scores for all students who have not previously studied at an institution of higher education where the language of instruction was English. (The school code for the TOEFL test is 0206.) The minimum TOEFL score required is 573 on the paper based test, 230 on the computer-based test or 89 on the Internet- based test.   • In order to enjoy the Health Insurance benefits, a complete and signed medical form must be received prior to the course start date
  • The balance of the program must be paid in full by June 1st, 2010.
