Israel is a dynamic, thriving country that welcomes hundreds and thousands of visitors every year. The people who live in Israel come from a wide range of different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds, however most live in harmony with each other as they raise their families, work at their jobs, undertake their studies, enjoy their recreation, and indeed, live their lives. The reality of life in Israel is often very far removed from the news worthy stories that are reported in the world's media.
Israel Experience Ltd has been continuously bringing students and young people to Israel in a safe and secure environment throughout some of Israel's most challenging periods and has proven that we can provide meaningful experiences for our participants, while maintaining the highest level of safety and security.
The safety, security, and well being of participants are the primary concerns of the Israel Experience Ltd and the Hebrew University. In order to maintain high levels of safety and security for participants on the Christian Origins program we follow standards set by the Israeli Ministry of Education and Government security agencies. All Christian Origins field trips and Office of Student Activities (OSA) trips are bound by the rules of the Israeli Ministry of Education, and travel is only within approved areas.
In addition the Hebrew University employs a 24-hour security network, with guards located at all campus entrances and units patrolling the campus, and dormitory complexes where you will be accommodated and studying.
Israel has a rich and diverse culture that offers the visitor outstanding insights into this unique part of the world. Students who wish to travel independently during free time are encouraged to do so but we recommend that you check with OSA staff and your program counselors before you travel to get advice about the best places to visit and how to remain safe and secure.
