Thank you for your interest in the Magen David Adom Ambulance volunteer program in memory of Yochai Porat Z”l. This excellent program run by the International department of Magen David Adom and Israel Experience In. (IEI), brings hundreds of young Jewish people from all over the world to Israel to work side-by-side Israeli staff and volunteers on ambulances in Israel.

The program begins with a 60-hour first-aid training course; an intense ten days of learning that covers material ranging from bandaging a simple wound through CPR and mass casualty incidents. The four to six weeks that follow are dedicated to experiencing Israel in the very real sense. While riding the ambulances through the city where you are placed, you'll have the opportunity to meet the Israeli population with its wide diversity of people, its many colors, religions and beliefs. You will be working with Israelis in an Israeli environment, perfecting your Hebrew and making wonderful new friends. All while saving lives.

The Registration Process

For your convenience we enable a fully automated online registration process.

The process works as follows:

  1. After you first register you will be asked to enter your personal information including contact information and passport information so have your passport handy.
  2. The system will then calculate the total amount that needs to be paid for the program and present that to you. On that page you will also be able to order additional services.
  3. Then you will be transferred to our secure site where you will be able to enter your credit card information and pay according to the payment stages of the program.
  4. Finally you will be presented a dashboard of our orders, payments, and your application status.
    Please complete all the application process! Once you do so you will see your application as complete.
    Please note- registration for each session ends a month before the starting date of the course. All forms and payment need to be submitted by then.

    You can return to the dashboard at anytime by logging in with the email and password you selected during registration if you wish to make any changes to your order, your application, or in order to pay the total amount for the program.

When registering please use an email that is valid and that you read often since we will be sending you updates and information regarding the program to that email.
