Rimon Program Application Process

The Rimon Music Experience Program application process is divided into three stages:

The online application form
The online application form includes: information about you and your musical experience.
The online application includes:

Information about you

Information about your musical experience and abilities

Payment of a non-refundable application fee of $50.00.
You will be contacted regarding methods of money transfer possible.

Sending additional documentation needed (by regular mail)
The first stage enables us to begin the application process but it by no means sufficient in order to complete to process. In order to do so you are to send us the following documents:

2 recent passport pictures

A photocopy of your passport

Medical Examination Form

Signed Statement on Standards and Responsibilities and Your Commitment

Declaration of health from your therapist [download form]

Music References form (a type of recommendation) [download form]

MASA grant application forms (if you wish to receive a grant) [download form]

After gathering all the required documents, mail them to:

Music Audition
In order to be accepted to Rimon there is a compulsory music audition. You must choose one of the following options:

Rimon School auditions in Israel by the Rimon staff.

DVD or video
Send Rimon your music expression via DVD or video for their audition.
Please include the DVD/video and the following 2 letters:
  1. A letter describing your musical history. (Musical education, courses, band, performances etc.).
  2. A recommendation letter from your music teacher describing your musical abilities.
If you choose this option, gather all the required information and documents and mail them to:

Auditions at local music schools worldwide (in cooperation with The Rimon School)
This option will rarely be used this year.

Please note: You can send this importmation AFTER you send the online application form (stage 1) and additional documents (stage 2).
It is not compulsory that the additional documents (stage 2) and the audition (stage 3) arrive together.
Yet, neither of them will be processed until the online application form is filled out (stage 1).

It is important to note that if you select to send all information via the mail (including the application form) your application will be processed only when all the documents arrive to Israel.
